What is the cost of a ticket to Forest Glade Gardens?

Adult entry ticket to Forest Glade Gardens is $15. Children 16 and under free & must be accompanied by an adult.

2026 Opening hours
Forest Glade Gardens are open every day, from 10:00am with last entry at 4:30pm. The gardens close at 5:00pm.

Getting There
Mount Macedon is about 65km north west of Melbourne. Melbourne airport is 50km away. V/Line trains stop at Macedon Station. Please note there is no regular public transport from Macedon Station to Forest Glade Gardens.

Parking
There is no on-site parking at Forest Glade Gardens, however there is street parking along Mt Macedon Road. Please ensure to check the parking signs for duration and any restrictions.

Photography
Informal picture taking and home videos are permitted. All other photography must be arranged and booked ahead, and certain fees may apply. Drones are not permitted.                                

Wedding, Engagement, Proposal or Event Photography
Must be arranged and booked in-advance.

Children must be supervised at all times. For their own safety, please do not allow children to climb on trees or statues, play in water features, pick flowers or walk on garden beds.

Pets
Dogs on a short leash are welcome but please clean-up any mess and do not let your dog off the leash.

Food
Small groups are welcome to bring a picnic but large gatherings are not permitted. Absolutely no barbecues or naked flames.

Fire Ban days
Forest Glade Gardens are closed on days of Total Fire Ban.
